THE IMAGINATION MOVERS WILL BE

PERFORMING LIVE IN CANADA THIS FEBRUARY!

Quotes:

“The Jack Frost Winterfest continues to provide an essential bump to tourism providers during the shoulder winter tourism season. This premiere winter tourism product contributes in excess of 900 room nights alone in February but the benefits don’t stop at accommodation providers — local restaurants, retailers, fuel providers, and Confederation Bridge all experience the impact of Jack Frost families in what is often considered a slower visitation period.”
- John Cudmore, Chair, Jack Frost Winterfest

“Jack Frost Winterfest has become a highlight of the winter season for families across the Atlantic region. This much-anticipated February weekend is yet another reason to visit our Island and see all that Charlottetown has to offer, year round. The Government of Canada is pleased to support growth in our tourism sector and, in turn, the many businesses that contribute to the economy of this vibrant city.”
- Sean Casey, Member of Parliament for Charlottetown, on behalf of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Minister responsible for the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency

“The Jack Frost Winterfest has been bringing people together to celebrate family, friends, and our Canadian winter for the past 14 years, providing opportunities for residents and visitors to enjoy live entertainment and lots of high quality activities inside and out. Jack Frost Winterfest is a staple event in Charlottetown and continues to have significant positive impacts on our community. We’re proud to continue to be a part of the festival.”
- Mike Duffy, Deputy Mayor, City of Charlottetown

"The Jack Frost Festival is Charlottetown's premier winter event and a great way for families to enjoy the outdoors. The expanded program and excellent entertainment this year will help to attract off-island visitation, increase accommodation bookings in the Capital region, and provide benefit to a variety of local businesses.”
- Hon. Chris Palmer, Minister of Economic Development and Tourism, Province of Prince Edward Island

“The Hotel Association of PEI is once again happy to be a sponsor of the Jack Frost Winterfest. For over 14 years, this premier winter festival has provided entertainment and activities for Islanders and for families from off-Island. This year, the Hotel Association is pleased to offer three-day packages for guests so that they can experience even more of what Charlottetown has to offer.”
- Craig Jones, President, Hotel Association of PEI

“Discover Charlottetown is proud to be a sponsor of this amazing winter festival and to sit on the board for Jack Frost. We are pleased to be now offering three night accommodation packages to encourage people to stay longer in our city and take advantage of Family Day. Winter and shoulder season tourism continues to be of great importance for our city and we look forward to continue offering new products that compliment our accommodations, restaurants, shops and services that work hard to offer year round experiences.”
- Heidi Zinn, Executive Director, Discover Charlottetown

“We are delighted to sponsor this ‘fun for all ages’ event to our City. We hope everyone will join us as the Jack Frost Team transform the Charlottetown Events Grounds and Eastlink Centre into a winter thoroughfare, filled with activity. We are thankful to all who are making it possible through their sponsorships, support, and enthusiasm, as we embark on what we hope will be the biggest and best Family Winter Fest in all of Eastern Canada.”
